The Trump Report: Curtis Sliwa Chosen For Top Defense Post

President Trump announced the appointment of Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the Guardian Angels as Secretary of Defense. Before creating The Guardian Angels Sliwa was the manager of a  McDonald's. President Trump made the announcement at a news conference in the oval office of the newly designated Trump White House. President Trump said: “Our whole approach will be to avoid Washington insiders at all costs. I chose Curtis precisely because he has no previous experience in either government or the military and like me is someone who's going to rely on his gut. Trust me folks, heads are going to roll. The Pentagon is never going to be the same. Curtis will translate his experience protecting passengers on subway platforms to dealing with threats from terrorist groups like ISIS.” Rumors were flying that President Trump would nominate either Cellino or Barnes, from the personal injury firm that advertises on CNN, to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court bench occupied by Justice Antonin Scalia. The President has also reputedly been scouring lists of Powerball winners in his search for the kind of untainted individual he's seeking for Secretary of the Treasury. A source close to the White House commented:  "They've seen a lot of CFOs with all the right degrees come and go, Someone who has won the lottery and has had to deal with great amounts of money for the first time possesses the fresh outlook that President Trump is looking for in dealing with our country’s economy.”
